How much does it cost to participate in Family Health Team programs and services?
All programs and services are available at no charge to rostered patients of the Halton Hills Family Health Team.
Is there an After Hours Clinic?
Yes, we offer weekday evenings and some weekend hours. Visit the Patients section for our Hours of Operation.
Where is the closest lab to complete a blood requisition?
Life Labs operates facilities at 40 Hillside Drive (behind the Georgetown Hospital), and 99 Sinclair Avenue, Unit 102.
What is THAS (Telephone Health Advisory Service)?
THAS is a free and confidential resource for rostered patients to receive quick, easily accessible health advice or general health information from a Registered Nurse. They can assess your symptoms and help you decide whether you need make an appointment with your doctor, contact a community organization or go to a hospital emergency room.
This service is available from 5:00pm to 8:00am weekdays and from Friday 5:00pm to Monday 8:00am.

Can I be seen even if my physician is not available?
If your physician is away and you have an urgent concern, you will be booked to see another physician or a nurse practitioner who is available.
What do I need to know about Health Cards?
You must present your health card at the Reception counter when you arrive for your appointment. If there has been a change in address or telephone number please notify the receptionist.
